Stick to one thing or two
My AuDHD brain is everywhere. I have one zillion ideas and have learned how to keep them moving forward. It’s progress. Really. I used to not go beyond the dream phase. Now I can ship the whole product, service, content. The problem is that I ship too much. I get confused and confuse others.
Recently, I met with a marketing coach, and worked out frameworks to define who I am, whose problem I want to solve and what that problem is. And while I got some clarity, I was still a bit in muddy waters. And much skinnier in my pocket - if you know what I mean.
But as I followed his instructions and the sources he referred me to, or I discovered while implementing those steps, I understood that I really need to cut down on the effort. Do less, not more. My idea was to do as many projects and tests in the 38-day period. Now, I’ll most likely do two.
On my TikTok, Adaptive Mindset, I have grown a steady audience with meaningful engagement. But I saw variety in it. No real magnet. I wanted to be natural, and as I am neurospicy, my content was sometimes sweet, sometimes sour or hot. And there was a bit too much of “me” in it.
Now I understood I need to back down. And set a clear frame to follow. It’s here. Below. Left so I can keep myself accountable, as no one else reads that blog, except for one cool person ;)
- I focus only on two platforms: LinkedIn and TikTok.
- My LinkedIn audience is business owners or C-suite, who can use my domain knowledge to remove their pains and costs.
- My TikTok audience is people I can help by being relatable.
- My perfect audience: clients are neurospicy entrepreneurs.

But I won’t go and sell. Instead, I will:
- On LinkedIn, I will engage - go into comments visible to people who may want my help.
- On TikTok, I will post only content that falls into those patterns:
- Here is actual advice on X
- You will Y successfully if you can answer that question
- I’m gonna do X (in this video)
- Tell me this, have you ever…
That means I may not post any more of “nth day of my challenge” or not spend much time on new carousels and showcase posts on LinkedIn. That means I may pause the plan for YouTube content about how I built Eidan. I won’t be building any new apps, except improving my own analytics and agent to give me visibility as I move on. The only signal that would change my direction will come either from lives on TikTok, booked sessions or other binding outreach.
In summary, I want to be known as a person who solves problems. On LinkedIn, I want to be known as a person who solves companies’ problems by advising them. On TikTok I want to be known as a guy who helps neurospicy people orgnise their life, but mostly their work life.
